The Juice Descent

The title suggests a slow, deliberate fall—something once sweet turning metallic and still. Elias stares at the last bottle, its color dulled, its taste replaced by the residue of rust. Outside, the beige vehicle waits under the crane, unmoved yet impossible to ignore. The inventory is finished, the door is blocked, and the radio signal has long since died. Nothing remains to be saved, only the moment when the last swallow is taken and the key no longer fits.
