The Pendulant Sway

The Pendulant Sway begins with a single image: a weight hanging in slow, continuous motion. Nils Brass Wire returns the title to its literal source, an object suspended between fixed points, moving only when something else moves it.
The track was completed in the weeks leading to the autumn equinox. Its length, three minutes fourteen seconds, matches the time the measures between two full swings of the same object.
